Research Interests
My interests are in social epistemology, feminist and queer theory, and digital humanities and media theory. My central philosophical pursuits look at the ways that certain epistemic environments can impact the way that agents develop their self-identities, and the way that political, technological, and social pressures can harm agents in the capacity to know themselves.

Along with my philosophical pursuits, I use my background in media theory and feminist philosophy to work on the analysis of gender and sexuality representation in popular fiction. My past academic aims have been to bring feminist philosophy and media/literary theory together in a way that critiques the impact that fictional narratives have on our social and cultural experience.
